I was lucky enough to get my Hands on a Kindle Fire HD.
Wow is all I can say, I am a computer/laptop kinda girl and have never been interested in the Tablets out there.
UNTIL NOW.
The light weight and easy to use design means even Ruby can use it with ease.
The picture quality is second to none and keeps Ruby engrossed.
But its not just for Ruby.
I love it to.
I love that I can listen to my music, play games, watch a Video or read a book.
Plus I can go online and check emails and blogs
I am a Mum of one who has been through a journey of discovery. I had a gastric bypass and started this blog to help me through my experience and to ofer help for others. You will also see reviews on products that I think deserve a review

Hello my lovelies.
Was going through some old photos today and could not believe the change!
Especially from my mum since the operation.
Now I have my photo dont with NFL cheerleaders lol.
I love the change and feel so much better for it.
I have a long way still to go, I need to lose around another 3 stone to get to my ideal weight and have a lot of excess skin.

Hello STrangers
Hi all sorry I have not blogged in forever.
I have moved home and been a busy bee.
I have been a Bridesmaid for my Mum and actually wore a dress ( something I would Never have done before)
My Mum also had a gastric bypass and you can see below how beautiful she now looks
So it really does work.
I get a lot of people asking questions still.
A friend of mine has a friend who is going for the Op.
She seems to think that she will have it after a few weeks and does not know the real demons you have to go through.
I will always say that if I could turn back time I would still have the op. Even though I needed a second op I would never change what I did.
I think people need to be realistic though and realise that it is hard and the first 6 or 7 months are hard.
I don't drink coffee anymore as it makes me fee sick, but pre op I drank loads, I still cant eat certain chocolate bars without feeling sick and my weight loss has well and truly stopped.
I still have a large belly and lots of loose skin and hope one day it will go.
But health wise I feel so much better, I enjoy walking and walk lots now, I am a better mum and play more with Ruby to.
I go out and feel confident when I do (not much every few months or so)

Not been around for a while
Sorry my lovelies, I have not been around for a while. I could not remember my details to log into the blog lol.
Well it has been nearly a year since my last surgery and I think I'm fully recovered from the surgery.
I seem to be able to eat quite a bit some days and then others not so much.
I'm also dissapointed by the amount of lose skin I have. And I have to wait at least 2 years before they will even consider me for a tummy tuck.
Its been a hard few months regarding weight issues. I have also had people asking how far along I am!!
Its so upsetting when this happens as I feel I have come along way and lost so much weight, but I still have my big belly.
The amount of lose skin is alot, I think it is probley easily over 1 stone and just think if it was not there I would be so much more fulfilled. I done some counselling about my weight issues to.
On a happy note, After being a coldplay fan since there first album, I finally got to see Coldplay preform on Saturday night. If you ever get the chance go. All I can say is AMAZING

Dora Review
Unless you are from the Moon you should have heard of Dora The Explorer.
